2023 has been a year of transformation for us here at SIGA—a year of regrouping, evolving, and setting our sights on the future. We set out this year with a clear mission: to modernize our business while honoring our legacy, all to better serve our retail partners, the brands we represent, and our incredible team.
Bridging Tradition with Innovation
This year was all about looking forward while staying rooted in what has always made SIGA strong. We recognized it was time to prepare for the next generation of retail in Canada and the U.S., and that meant making thoughtful changes. Our goal? To keep the foundation of “SIGA 1.0” strong while building toward a future-ready “SIGA 2.0.”
If you’ve noticed our fresh new look, that’s no coincidence! We embarked on a full rebrand, one that reflects who we are today and where we’re headed. Internally, we’ve overhauled our operations to match the demands of a faster, more connected market. With more consumers choosing digital over brick-and-mortar shopping, we’re bridging our analog strengths with a robust digital presence to keep up with an increasingly mobile and immediate market.
The Year of the Suit?
This year saw some vibrant trends taking the spotlight—bold colors and ‘90s throwback styles ruled the fashion scene worldwide. But we noticed a different trend quietly making waves: the resurgence of tailored suits. Our partnership with Sondergaard at The Bay highlighted the growing demand for polished, tailored menswear.
Even as workplaces become more casual, millennial and Gen Z shoppers are stepping up their style game, and suit wear has found its place in the modern wardrobe. Direct-to-consumer brands are finally embracing tailored menswear in ways that make it accessible and convenient. It seems the modern consumer wants the ease of online shopping, even for their formalwear, and the option to have a perfect fit delivered to their door.
Strengthening Partnerships and Expanding Reach
Through all our internal growth, we’ve remained laser-focused on providing top-notch service and representation for our brands. This year, we celebrated key placements for Bugatti menswear and footwear at Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom, as well as industry milestones for Lambretta, which joined Berwin & Berwin in their acquisition by Edinburgh Woolen Mill Group.

2023 was all about setting the foundation for SIGA 2.0—modernizing our operations, enhancing our services, and raising the bar for what we can offer our partners. As we move into 2024, we’re eager to build on this year’s progress, leveraging new opportunities and the enhanced capabilities that position SIGA for even greater success.
